It's pretty easy. When I think I'm not going to have fun, I have a blast. When I think I'm excited to go somewhere, it turns out I get bored. I'm weird. I don't like this kind of curse o_O. Makes me want to feel sad ALWAYS!
More soon about this... but I can assure it has a night at a club, lots of meetings with friends, reuniting with N&N for a sec, getting a sunburn, feeling horrible, playing with water balloons and meeting new, interesting people!

This weekend was fun as well. This time, the number of children lowered while the adults increased. Even though we didn't stayed late late night every day, we did have fun and laughed. I can't quite recall the first day as much... I remember being in the beach, since Stephanie had invited my brother and me to go to her house from Friday. While we were at the beach with Alejandra, invading another house's umbrella, Maki, Andrea and Kristy arrived from the distance with Froggy. Hi hi hi. We went to the pool just then, because it was a warm day and the water was not as cold too.
After hours in the pool, we got out and walked the longest distance ever to the house yet again dying of cold. We played Cooking Mama in Wii while each of us took turns showering. I was supposed to go first, but after my brother got in the shower swiftly, my sister entered the bathroom skipping my spot. So I played Cooking Mama with Maki and Andres walks through the door! So again, hi hi hi! My parents were in a lunch in some other beach kms away from ours, why oh why. So I have no idea what exactly happened next... so let me skip to the night before my memory gives sommersaults...
Just when we were about to go to sleep, after nothing very interesting and fun happening, Kevin threw us his 'Stinky Bomb' he had bought from a kermesse long ago. It sucked... no, wait, it STANK. We ran away thinking it was a fart or the fridge or something, but then I realized it was the bomb and accused him. We tried to make a sweet revenge plan, and ended going for the mixture which this time contained:
Sunblock
Citrus Juice
Pepsi
A bit of ice
A bit of pepper
Mayoneise
Pencil residues
... and yucky stuff
We never placed Kevin's hand on it so he can wet his bed... (rumour Andres suggested) because it was disgusting. So we stayed a while talking in the living room before they all fell asleep and we drouzed to the attic (?).
Next morning, Sunday, surprise! I tried speaking and had no voice whatsoever to speak with. I could max upper my voice to a whisper, and it didn't sound good. I tried to shout... nothing. It was depressing... never happened before. We went downstairs and Kevin, Andre, Andres and Hideki were still fast asleep in bed. So tah-dah, revenge. I painted hearts on Kevin's cheek, and a smiley in his knee. We took embarassing photos on our camara and laughed so hard... then we ate breakfast and went to the pool. Wiii.... tons of my uncles and aunts came to visit, so the house was so full I ended up eating Spaghettis with a spoon... a little one. How the heck do I eat Spaghettis with a spoon?! Try it, it isn't as easy!
What I did with my voice was just laugh it off with the rest. Because after the pool I ended up with horrible... uh... voice? Well, it was funny. I couldn't especially pronounce BEACH. Sad, again! They played tennis for a while, and we went to watch. The deal was made here with Maki, where I would try not to talk as much or she would hit me in the forehead. I told Andres: 'If I could talk I would be talking to you now' and I won a punch... score! We went to the boulevard and drank Starbucks. I couldn't talk because Maki made a deal with me to be my voice, plus she thought maybe if I stayed shut up for a while I could be well sooner than later. Plus... she would hit me if I opened my mouth to say something haha. And it hurts... so I better not speak. We had a walk and looked at some shops and clothes around we wanted to buy. Hmm... back at the house, they went to play tennis (Hideki drove the car to the courts) and Kevin was inspired to drive in the morning too. So at night, we played 'Chancho' (a nice, fun, interesting game) and laughed. I hoped water could calm all my ... voice loss.... but let's say the water tasted like box and my voice sounded like a box too. After that, Maki, Kristy and me decided to stay till 6.30am awake, so next morning we could say GOODBYE to Hideki, Carlos and Andres while they went back to Lima. We prapred the breakfast table and talked... rumours and gossip about everything. Unluckily we didn't lasted long... at 5.00am we were dozing... and when I woke in the morning, I knew they were gone. It was silent outside, and bright, which meant 6.30 had gone away. It was 9.00am.
Next day we couldn't do much. We played Mario Party, had breakfast and Kevin tried driving since he hadn't woken up earlier for his class. We bumped about 5 times and Kevin had sudden attacks of brakes... plus we got stuck in the sand dunes. But that, you can see it in the video I'm soon posting on Youtube! Hahaha!! You prob can hear my ugly voice in it too... so laugh all you want because I would laugh if it weren't me like it or not. So then I went to Nicole's beach and since I couldn't talked, what I mostly say was just 'Hi'... Boooohooo... then the Boulevard, we ate Bembos, played on the children's games (Childishly fun!) and then ate some gummies. On the way home, we talked about upcoming movies, terror movies, bad Kevin jokes, how nauseous we were, all the beach successes, Kevin's driving skills, Kevin's haircut and sports. I couldn't talked much again, because my voice kept sounding bad plus it hurt when I opened my mouth. So shhh...
We went by Andres' house because he forgot his toothbrush, and then to our house until Maki's mother picked up Andre and then Maki hours later.
Oh, and we got another weekend in the beach :D So let's hope that is as fun as my expectations are! No... jk jk :D

Another weekend...
Jan. 24th, 2008 | 03:17 pm
Apparently the past weekend I gained two new nicknames. Now you can call me 'Guitar Hero Immortal' and 'Pepe'. I rather be called by my name though... Well, my brother and his other Kevin friend went to the beach along with his friends Octavio and Rodrigo.
Alejandra, Stefanie and Nuria had a sleepover and invited us, and we watched some movies, ate some popcorn and... took photos? We later did a bonfire with practically all the children in the beach. It was pretty cool! But we didn't have the materials to make an adequate campfire so... my brother brought his deodorant and we sprayed a tad on the fire... :) Yeeey (?)
Later on a friend of my brother hit his head and my parents had to take him to the hospital. Nothing serious though... and I'm just hoping that next week (sort of tomorrow) all the invited people would accept the invitation and come spend time with us on the beach. Yeeeey... Oh, and I'm so excited because a friend is going to lend me Twilight! :D Aweeesome. And I'm now desperate to buy 'Pretty Little Liars' which is kind of a Clique-y book with a suspense twist (includes murder!). So yes... I just need to wait till my dad wants to spend money on Amazon for him to pay the flight and for me to pay the books. I might be getting a 2nd hand one... but whatevs! And I bought Mario Party for DS and I played a while with Alvaro on the beach. It def is more fun when more people play!

The beach... yey!
Jan. 15th, 2008 | 02:16 am
This weekend couldn't have been more fun. Seriously!! It was also full of surprises! We went to the beach on Friday, to make the house pristine for the guests coming on Saturday morning. We found many surprises when we arrived... no lights, no water, no gas, a pest (the fridge's content had gone bad because there was no light), raining outside, strong winds, lots of insects and no dinner. But phew, some hours went by and the fridge had been cleared, the smell had faded, the lights had been fixed, the water piped too, the gas as well, the rain had ceased, half the insects were gone and we ate some cookies in a can.
Saturday
We were all happily sleeping, and around 9.00 Hideki and Andres came. My brother, my sister and I had to rush to the showers and prepare to say HELLO HELLO! Later I went to the swings and my cousins, Maki and Andre came and again, HELLO HELLO!
Alejandra and Alvaro are siblings. Alvaro's invited friend is Joshua. Stefanie and Franchi are siblings.
At noon, we went to the beach and played volleyball. It was fun too!
| Aunt, Hideki, Maki and Joshua *won* |
| Alejandra, Andre, Kevin, Keri and Kristy |
By the end of the game, we all went to the boulevard to walk/shop/etc.
At night, around 11.00 we played group Pictionary: girls vs. boys. Obviously (lol... really it was a tough call) girls won. In mid-game, surprise surprise! My cousin walks in with Percy (but later they went back to their beach house). Then around 12.00, we played Charades. This time, boys won (didn't notice before, but it's a tie we never continued!). Then Percy and my cousin and Silvia came back, as well as Stefanie and Franchi and some of us played 'Duck Duck Goose' and 'Knots' at 3.00am. In conclusion, we were a group of 16 running, screaming, noisy kids who were unable to sleep. But 3.00AM was long enough, and we were all tired, so we went to sleep. Gosh it was so fun...
Sunday (well... actually, it was already Sunday at 3.00)
Waking up, eating breakfast and more were in the intro of the day. We went to the boulevard at noon and there we went to try for free some of the fun games they had :D FUUUUN! And we went to the pizza place to eat some pizza (duh) and while we were waiting we went to check some of the clothing stores around with Maki. In the restaurant, we very 'immature kids' (lol) started mixing all the sauces and ice and condiments... by the end we had this DISGUSTING mixture of stuff that Maki threw out on a bin (I've got a picture and some clips from the day). We ate ice cream, went back to the house, played Boggle, operated some clients (LOL! I mean on Wii, Trauma Center) and slept.... because at 6.30am, the guests went home.
It was FUN x 100... it had been a long long time since I had so much fun!

Bring back the 90s...
Project Runway's episode "What a girl wants" will be aired sometime between this day and tomorrow. I've got a feeling Christina Aguilera will appear on the episode... just saying. I liked the last episode, where they only used candy wrappers or candy pillows to make an outfit! Hoorah...
Coming soon...

Back from the beach!
Jan. 8th, 2008 | 12:52 am
The weather is absolutely wrong. Summer should be sunny, alright? If Mother Nature didn't know that already! Global warming is harming us all indirectly or not, and now that ecologists are placing doubts on the 100-year theory it's pretty much settled that we are all going to be flooded in water someday. And it's our fault! But let's not think about that hideous day. Not yet!
I went to the beach! I know, it might be winter on your country, but it's summer holidays here! The first day I met a wonderful friend called "Squawk", whose picture with me is below.
When I was walking with my sister through the shell-covered yellow-brick path, I heard this constant, rhytmic SQUAWK coming from this bird on the bottom of a palm tree. He probably fell from his nest on the palm tree (O_O) or whatever. So we took it back home and then he sort of learned to fly in two seconds and went away with 'Mother'. But not after some pictures!
So next week we are inviting around 20 people to our house. 11 of us being children, and the rest mothers to help take care of all our BIG CROWD! I don't know how we are going to play a Wii tournament (well, I've got some solutions about that!) and then we are def going for the pool and group Pictionary. Last time we invited that huge group, we ended playing until sunrise. Which was fun, and I got sick because I laughed so much. Haha. Haha.
The problem is: the house. The bedrooms are only for 6 people. And hello?! Half of us don't fit in the house! That's why (oh, yes, perfect solution), my parents will buy tents and the 6 girls will sleep in one, and in a tent beside, the 5 boy's. Soooo ... I don't know what to say!
I bought 2 Teen Vogues in a bookstore nearby. Luckily, they are in ENGLISH! I'm currently reading the one that has the Mischa Barton cover. Whoot. I was just about to take a photo in the swing when, just my luck, no one wanted to take a photo of me :( And the sad, sad truth is: I can't take good pictures of myself! Darn... I need friends x) I sound like a soreless loser which was how I felt just then.
I had a dream last night! I'm sure Daniela will LOVE it... but I'm not so sure how I felt about it... I dreamt I was getting tickets for the cinema. Somehow I had ended watching Spongebob (WEIRD) on the cheapest cinema in Peru EVER. And somehow, the Jonas Brothers (Nick and Joe at least) had just entered the ticket line! I was stunned, like a celebrity ever would go watch Spongebob on a cheap cinema in Peru? I decided I would ask for a photo-autograph or something. So Joe (I wasn't so sure if it was him or Kevin... they look kind of alike to me!) and Nick and a bodyguard suddenly got away in a car before I could take a photo, and I was deeply sad because singers never come to Peru that easily :( But then I noticed they probably went somehwere else while they were waiting for the movie to start, so I cheered up along with other admirers in the cheap cinema. And that was exactly what had happened, so they came back and somehow I got photos of Joe with a scrunched up face, and Nick-who-turned-to-be-my-brother. It was DEEPLY weird! I just had to wake up! And I did. No big deal then.
I kind of guess where the dream came from. Earlier that night, I had went with my godparents and their daughters to a supermarket on the boulevard, and we saw two Peruvian celebrities: Pedro Suarez Vertiz and Raul Romero. I thought Pedro Suarez Vertiz (singer) was stealing my backpack at first, because he walked right by my side just as I felt my backpack shaking (it was my godmother's daughter haha). Dumb me, but I wanted to shout THIEF. Raul Romero? I didn't even recognize him. But he was with a baldy-companion (which again I'm sure Daniela would love). Somehow I wanted to find both of them and ask for a picture with them. That's where the dream came from!
Anyway, I'm wishing that we all fit next weekend on THAT HOUSE!
XOXO,

Reality Shows

music: Good life - Kanye West
Reality shows work basically like this: stalker cameraman follow you everyone, asking questions you must answer because the contract says so. Plus annoying judges telling you the hard truth of what you are... maybe that's positive or negative, but who knows? You must not make any mistakes in here!
America's Next Top Model *spoilers!*
The latest is the Scandaleisha scandal. I wasn't actually rooting for Saleisha, I don't even liked her... and I'm glad this scandal is surfacing! Tyra Banks knew Saleisha before the competition started, we all know. Saleisha attended to Tyra's T-Zone camp, but was there more to that? Yes! Tyra has tricked us all! Probably Saleisha had it fixed. I believe so...
The application form states that the model shouldn't have participated in commercials or national TV for at least 5 years (months?). But SALEISHA HAS!
Saleisha has been in: (You can watch them on the top video)
- Ugly Betty episode (Click here to watch it)
- Cycle 6 fashion show
- Tyra Banks show
- Wendy's Commercial (Click here to watch it)

Project Runway *spoilers!*
I'm just about watching season 4, episode 4. For now, I think I like Christian, Chris, Kevin, Victoria, Kit, Sweet P's personality only, Jillian's designs and Elisa's hilarious weirdness. I was disgusted with Elisa's spit marks. It was... creepy, actually! But her designs are so peaceful, I may grow to like them sometime!

Oh dear...

sad
music: Love song - Sara Bareilles
*Reading not recommended for depressed people. The following content is depressing!*
So it worked like this. Two tragedies followed, just before New Year. I was happily arranging CD's ready to receive New Year's eve, when suddenly I hear this horrible yelp and shrieks from outside. I didn't dare look, because in my head, I kind of guessed what was going on. And it wasn't a pretty thought. You see, our neighbour has a dog. I can't quite remember his name... but the thing is, he is kept on the roof, and when there are fireworks, he gets literally scared to death. He jumped into our roof continously, but then the neighbours decided to add a fence to divide both our roofs. The thing is, last time the dog heard a fireworks, he jumped into my aunt's car, making a great hole and breaking one of his bones. But this time, it was different. He heard a firework from, I don't know... 20 acres, probably?! and jumped. He did not miss the spikes we and our neighbours had surrounding our house. It was horrible. Everyone was screaming. I would say: 'You get the picture', but I find myself actually wishing you did not.
Let's go to something more... uh... different
...but sad. So we were going to the beach to see if we were going to buy for all January this beach house we hadn't even visited before. It was not as nice as the other one we had got on 2005. The kitchen and living room of this house were AWESOME and bigger, but the bedrooms... well, sucked. There are like cracks and missing paint spots. Also there aren't a lot of beds, or a service room :(. SAD!
But that's not the most depressing thing. On our way back to our real home, there was a... don't know how to call this! But I got my camera and just managed to take shots of the smoke, and the misfortuned bus...
I don't think even the newspapers have got these shots! It would be a coincidence if they were at the exact same time in the exact same place the smoke came! I'm sorry some photos are blurry, I had to take them as my car passed by. This caused major traffic, but after the road got unstuck, we all had a view of another sad moment.
I truly hope you had a happier week than I had!

Just starting!

music: Low - Flo Rida!
It's been the most exhausting year, 2007, wasn't it? But now, let's rip the page and get a fresh start! 2008 is finally here, and with it, it came: a friendly family dinner, about 200 fireworks, 12 green grape-eating, 12 wishes we hope get granted, dried-up food and Champagne drinking (not mentioning throwing the liquid in our heads!). Where were you at 0.00 sharp on the first minute of New Year? Well I was cleaning up my room not long before (I even made a California collage on my closet), when everyone began shouting '5 minutes left!' and outside fireworks were the only thing in sight. I hurried with my new, Christmas-present camera down the stairs to prove to everyone the fireworks setting did work, and guess what? The battery went dead. Poof. Walakazam. Nothing. I ran for the charger, connected it, and reached the kitchen where all my family was in the countdown just in time! We hugged, we ate, we watched fireworks and we had a blast.... truly! Since I got my new camara, I'm crazy to take some planned photoshoots pretty soon :) So wait for them! XOXO, come back and read soon! Here I leave you with some 2008 photos... Now that I got my new camera... who knows how many are to come in the future?!
